Legacy Giving

Growing seeds of hope that flourish year on year

For 600 years there has been an almshouse in Saffron Walden. That’s a wonderful legacy and one that we are eager to protect for generations to come.

You can be part of this vision, by making a bequest that has a lasting impact on the lives of local people. By leaving a gift in your Will, you’ll be helping us to secure not only a unique piece of Saffron Walden’s heritage, but much-needed homes for those in search of a sense of belonging. A legacy is where seeds of hope are planted, so that they can flourish year on year, long after you’re gone.

Bequests

The Trust is grateful for all the bequests it receives, no matter what their size. Here are a few examples of how a legacy gift can transform the lives of local people.

£5,000 | could fund a kitchen garden where residents are able to grow and share their own fruit and vegetables.

£10,000 | could equip a kitchen in one of the new properties.

£25,000 | could fully equip a home for a disabled or less able-bodied resident.

Of course, you can always make a gift that is unrestricted and leaves Trustees free to invest your donation where it’s needed most.
